Mattoon, IL – February 18, 2026 – Pilson Powersports, partnering with Can-Am, is proud to announce the donation of a $30,000 side-by-side UTV to Camp New Hope. The handover will take place at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the camp’s facility located at 1364 County Rd 100 East, Neoga, IL 62447. This significant contribution is poised to enhance operational efficiency and support the camp's mission of providing inclusive recreational experiences for individuals with special needs.

Enhancing Camp Operations and Caregiving

Camp New Hope serves individuals aged eight and older who have special needs, offering a safe and welcoming environment throughout the year. The camp’s diverse programming includes fishing, pontoon boat excursions, miniature golf, swimming, and recreational crafts—all designed to foster camaraderie and create lasting memories. Moreover, the camp provides caregivers with vital respite through trusted, enriching services.

The donated Can-Am Defender XT will aid the camp's maintenance team by facilitating hauling of materials such as limbs and supplies across the 41-acre property alongside Lake Mattoon. Its enclosed cab ensures comfort during adverse weather, and plans are underway to equip it with a snow blade for winter snow removal, further extending its utility.
